Water channel on eastern side on Jalan Bungur Besar, Kemayoran Urban Village, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, was cleaned by Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management. Thousands of mud and trash sacks were taken away from the channel.

Dicky Suherlan, Central Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Water Management, said the effort was done since the area always inundated when rain pours.
“The channel is already shallowing due to mud and trash,” he said, Wednesday (2/10).

“We already cleaned 150 meter out of 500 meter,” he added.
